Blogging Questions

I have stalked several for years and even left some comments:  So I am now making my list of stupid questions on how to make my blog better:

::  How to I creat a better background
::  How to I create a linky
::  How do I make my pictures bigger
::  I really dont like my layout...how do I change it


I know...I know...I should have researched all this before I started... But I wanted to document summer.
